Our 4th Annual Galentine’s Day Event
Director Penny Marshall brings together Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Madonna, Rosie O’Donnell, and some pretty cool dudes (we’re looking at you, Tom Hanks) in this big-league comedy based on the real-life exploits of the All-American Girls’ Professional Baseball League. It’s 1943 and most of the men of baseball-playing age are far away in Europe and Asia fighting World War II. The owners of the country’s baseball teams, not wanting baseball to be dormant indefinitely, decide to form teams with women and send scouts out over the country to find new players.
